The primary mission of Anderson Transition Center is to teach students self-determination and self-advocacy skills, increase community navigation, and make connections for students and families with post-secondary support adult students will need once they exit the school district.

SBCUSD’s Captain Leland F. Norton Elementary School was honored by the California Department of Education (CDE) on April 9 as a 2026 Green Achiever School, the highest distinction possible under the California Green Ribbon Schools Award program.

The San Bernardino City Unified School District (SBCUSD) is proud to announce a new school adoption partnership between San Bernardino Sheriff’s Athletic Federation (SAF) and North Park Elementary School, a year-long collaboration designed to provide meaningful support, enrichment and resources for students, staff and families.
